WoM #8 - Safetyword live in session

Wow!! The amazing Safetyword live in session playing two jaw-dropping live sets for us as Theo goes it alone in the BCfm studio. Thanks to some top notching live sound engineering by Joe Garcia of Red Radio Sound the Manx quartet delivered some stunning songs ahead of their UK tour with Hot Club de Paris and were kind enough to bring us in some music by Battles, 100th Monkey and Mike Seed to play. There were also interviews with North Sea Navigator, Stanton Delaplane and Mike Britton, plus music by Mea Culpa, You & the Atom Bomb, Line, The Glizy Bag Hags, The Cedar, Turbowolf, The Francos and lots more.

due to a glitch in the station's computer the first six tracks were missed off: the show starts with You & the Atom Bomb

Word of Mouth #04 – Dr Joel live in session

The fourth show of the ever popular Word of Mouth was a rather spectacular event. Broadcast live on BCFM 93.2 fm, Monday 16th April (GMT), the studio became the stage for cult hero, composer and vocal percussionist extraordinaire DR JOEL. Download the podcast to hear his live tracks intermingled with our selection of the best local and touring music. Caroline Martin, Babel, Ozomatli, Thea Gilmore, and Thomas Traux were amongst the sparkling treasure aired by resident djs Theo Berry and Dr Anna Rutherford as they tried to comfort themselves in the absence of DJ Antoni Maiovvi.
